Dragon Fury 7mm Knee Sleeves
Product Description
Measure around the widest point of your kneecap, with your leg straight or slightly bent (~30°). Snug, not tight. Both knees may differ — use the larger.
Your 35 cm knee sits in the sweet spot for M — strong 7mm compression with a manageable fit.
I'm between two sizes. Which do I pick?
For training and comfort, go true to size or up. For competition and max-effort squats, size down for tighter compression. 7mm sleeves stretch slightly with wear, but don't expect them to "break in" like leather — if they're way too small now, they'll still be too small in 6 months.
Why are 7mm so much harder to put on than 5mm?
7mm is IPF-approved, competition-grade neoprene. The thicker material gives more rebound out of the hole on heavy squats but is genuinely tight on the first 5–10 wears. This is by design — loose 7mm sleeves don't rebound, which defeats the entire purpose.
Will they stretch out over time?
A small amount, yes. After 20–30 sessions you'll notice they go on slightly easier and feel a bit less restrictive. They don't change your size though — if you're a true M, you'll always be a true M.
How tight is "too tight"?
If you can't bend your knee past 90° comfortably, they're too small. If your knee goes blue, numb, or tingly within 10 minutes — return them. Pressure and stiffness are normal. Cut-off blood flow is not.
Where exactly should I measure?
Stand straight, slight bend in the knee. Wrap the tape around the widest point of the kneecap. Tape should be snug, not pulled tight. Measure both knees — they often differ by 0.5–1 cm. Use the larger measurement.
