Sizing tip Measure your foot at the end of the day — feet swell slightly during the day and that's when you'll actually be wearing shoes. Stand on a piece of paper, trace your foot, and measure heel to longest toe. If you're between sizes, go up — powerlifting shoes need a firm fit but not a painful one.
How to measure your foot
01
Trace at end of day
Feet swell throughout the day. Measure in the evening for the most accurate size — same conditions you'll be lifting in.
02
Stand, don't sit
Place paper on a hard floor. Stand on it with your full weight, heel against a wall. Trace both feet — use the longer measurement.
03
Measure heel to toe
Measure the straight-line distance from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe. That number in cm goes straight into the finder above.
04
Between sizes? Go up
If your foot length sits between two sizes, always take the larger. A slightly long shoe is fine — a shoe that's too short creates pressure on the toes under load.
FAQ
I'm between two EUR sizes. Which do I pick?

Go up. Under heavy load — squats, deadlifts — your foot spreads slightly and pushes forward in the shoe. A size too small will cause black toenails and pain. A size too large can be managed with thicker socks or an insole.

My UK size and EUR size give different results. Which do I trust?

Trust your CM foot length — it's the most objective measurement. UK and EUR sizing can vary slightly by brand. If in doubt, measure your foot with a tape and use that number directly.

Do powerlifting shoes fit differently to regular trainers?

Yes. Powerlifting shoes are built with a stiff, flat sole and a narrow last compared to cushioned trainers. They're designed to feel snug and locked-in — not roomy like a running shoe. If you normally wear a loose trainer, you may find your true size feels tighter in a lifting shoe.

Can I wear thick socks with lifting shoes?

You can, but most serious lifters go with thin socks for maximum feedback through the floor. If you do plan to wear thick socks, factor that in — you may want to go half a size up from your bare-foot measurement.

My size isn't in the EUR 37–48 range. What do I do?
